“When you walk into Silver Moon, it's not like you're walking into a business, rather a very comfortable, warm, and cozy home. When you meet Bob and Susan, it's not like you're meeting business people, it's like you're meeting friends that truly care about you. My brother took me to Silver Moon Kayak Company on my birthday and I have a very fond picture in my mind complete with an improvised birthday cake, a party hat, and the whole crew singing Happy Birthday to me. I have not had that pleasure from other businesses. I find it difficult to leave their shop and enjoy visiting with them very much. I look forward to taking classes with them and going on outings very soon. Being new to kayaking, I know I've made the right choice and I consider myself lucky to know them. Like I said before, it's not like a business, it's a friendship. One that I will value for a lifetime. Being retired military, there are certain people you entrust your life to. Bob and Susan are true friends and have earned that trust with me. That all said, their shop offers a very wide variety of kayak equipment that rivals large water sport vendors. If you don't see it, they can still get it for you with a very swift phone order. If it's the wrong size, not to worry, they'll work it all out for you. 'Above and beyond' is a good phrase to describe their order of business. All that and a friendship too? I look forward to paddling around with you this summer! .... and yes, I've taken my mother to meet them too.”
