Appropriate clothing can make your experience on and in the water safe and more comfortable.

We recommend wetsuits for in-water classes and whitewater classes and have them available in our retail shop. A detailed to-bring list will be supplied upon registration for our multi-day courses and tours.

On bright, sunny days swimsuits, shorts, hats and sunglasses are suitable for our "dry" beginner flatwater classes and guided tours.

The weather can be quite fickle in Montana, however, and changes rapidly. We recommend you also bring along raingear, a change of clothing and some cooler weather clothing just in case.

Cotton is the worst thing to wear, especially jeans as they are uncomfortable in the boats and will not dry.

Wear shoes that can get wet (avoid shoelaces & thong sandals) and bring an eyeglass retainer, especially if you have prescription glasses or expensive sunglasses!

Don't forget the sunscreen and a small water bottle.

Most importantly bring an open mind and your sense of adventure!

What we supply: Kayaks and all related equipment, unless otherwise noted, professional guides, instruction, first aid and emergency supplies and a super FUN time with safety conscious instructors.

We look forward to seeing you on the water!
